Je veux seulement l'oublier.

Except I toooootally want to dejeuner. That's never been the problem.

Today, I:
--Turned in my last exam, and am therefore 100% finished with high school.
--Talked to Justin Timberlake way more than you guys would be proud off.
--Ate the cleanest, least falling-apart-all-over-the-place burrito of my life.
--Finished Maureen Johnson's The Bermudez Triangle, which was consistently satisfying, but, like every Maureen Johnson novel, has no ending whatsoever.
--Was informed by Andrew that I earned several school awards that I chose not to receive at the official ceremony, because I hate all those people.
--Developed a crush on the big brother character from Selena Gomez's TV show.
--Wore a cute purple dress.

Tomorrow, I will:
--Bake a cake for my small group leader/godmother-figure.
--Legitimately work on my novel.
--Clean something. Anything. Just move and accomplish for once.
--Spend time with the much-neglected boyfriendthing.
--Go out for chocolate muffins with my friend, Katie.
--Make a decent fiveawesomegirls video.
--Write and make a hayleyghoover video. If this is too much to ask (it probably is)...
--Make an effort to finish a long-festering video idea.

OH, and in youtubely news, Shawna (Nanalew) posted a new GORGEOUS video. If you don't already subscribe to her, you're making a serious mistake. Get on that.

J'aime penser en Francais de temps en temps.

There might be a lot wrong in that sentence. It's been a year since I stopped taking French.

Congratulations of being completely done with high school!! I felt pretty much the same way about everyone at my school as you did. I feel you.

I also just finished The Bermudez Triangle today. (I went our and bought it after you wrote about it in here.) And yeah, this book is pretty much splendorous.

Good luck with that to-do list tomorrow!

This comment comes in three parts:

1.So I played that song in the background while reading your blog and it was quite nice!
Actually, that would be cool if you put a song to listen to while reading your blog in the beginning of each one! Just a suggestion, not that your blog needs any more awesome. ;)

2.Congrats on finishing High School! I'm EXTREMELY jealous. I've got FINALS and then 2 more years in this dump. If I survive that long.

3. About the whole talking to JT more than we'd be proud of, as long is it wasn't more than you talked to "the much neglected boyfriendthing" then I wont judge :)

Ohhhh, la musique française est le meilleur.

Go listen to some Christophe Mae.

And - FÉLICITATIONS pour etre terminé l'école secondaire!

I love that song! I've never seen the video though. Thanks! I had my friend translate it for me. It has a very... interesting translation.

I can't wait for your (maybe) two videos tomorrow!

Shawna's new video is so beautiful! And good luck with your list for tomorrow, you are much more motivated than I have been since my semester ended...

I find it ridiculously funny that I have a higher chance of understanding the Japanese subtitles that the french in that video... and I'm American.

I love your bloggggggggg.

No, but I'm serious. ("And I'm Regulus!")

Eh. Nevermind. Goodbye now.
And thank you for your blog. (:

I must say, Justin from Wizards of Waverly Place has a special place in my heart, as well.

... shut up, my sisters are 7 and 9. I'm allowed to watch TV with them!!

I confess far too much on your blog comments.

And remember: when you're with JT, keep an eye out for the nearest flight of stairs. You never know when he'll need a nice fall.

The older brother from Selena's show...SIGH. Disney Channel keeps finding new sneaky ways to get older teens to watch it. Smoking hot guys...how dare they use our weakness against us! x]

Kate said...

It makes me happy that you've heard of that song. . . for me it's the kind of song that you're like "this isn't popular music so none of my friends will know it and think i'm cool for knowing all the words to a french song"

Becka said...

I was half afraid you'd do a shout out to yesterdays commenters, since I wasn't one of them- sorry! But no, I'm safe :)

Congratulations on finishing! We know how much you've been looking forward to it. Yeah, now you can go off and start your actual new life as a proper adult, or whatever :) We're all proud of you for making it through all the years.

I wanted to write something in French at the start of this comment, but then I remembered that I suck at languages and haven't studied one for three years. And therefore, that idea wouldn't work.

You're so lucky to be done with high school...I've got another year to go and I really don't have the energy.

But once again, your blog put a smile on my face.

=D

....when do you sleep? That's more than I could do in an entire week. Bahaha, unintentional rhyme. I had a good time?

Wait...do you smoke?!

I probably couldn't fit half of those things in the course of one day :D but then again, if I start cleaning, I usually don't stop for a while...

I hate that about Maureen's books. I need endings! Of course I shouldn't complain, if it has no ending it leaves space for a sequel. Today is my last two finals, then I sit through 3 pointless days of school. Oh well, summer's almost here.

Cat said...

Yeah, I didn't like that the Bermudez Triangle had no ending... it REALLY bothered me. But I just finished my last exam too, one more class to go and my final in that is just a reflection. Yay!

darn, the link didn't work! oh well... but lets just say the link led to a certain alice cooper... XD

Pink Martini! <333333
And I completely agree. The Bermudez Triangle was fabulous, and I cannot wrap my head around how Maureen can write such satisfying stories and yet get away with not actually ending them. xD

abbs866 said...

Congratulations on your graduation! School is cool, but you can stop being blue now you're through...

Okay I'm done. I just am rhyme-y today.

Britty said...

1-Hoover, I won't sugarcoat it...I'm disappointed you talked to JT. You may think when you read this comment "What the hell do I care what you think?" You are free to feel so. I only say it because I've been in a situation VERY similar to yours and I don't want to see you hurt in the same ways I was.
2-I totally agree on the older brother on Selena Gomez's show. I'm in love with iCarly's older brother.
3-Congrats on being done with school!
4-I agree with you on Maureen's book 100% it bugs me too!

Anyway, that's all!

The Pearl said...

I LOVE Pink Martini, and that song. Just listened to it yesterday, actually. I am listening to French songs in order to brush up for my summer class starting in a week and a half.

STOP TALKING TO JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE! He doesn't deserve your wit.

I would like some cake, please.

That is all.

Elisa said...

haha definitely heard that song in french class last semester. HA!

love your blog :]
you make me smile

Erin said...

Congratulations on being done forever! Good luck working on your novel, I would totally buy a book that you wrote. :)

Le français est une telle belle langue. En fait, c'est ma langue préféré ! Mais cela est seul parce que je peux le parler. Oh, je devrais faire remarquer : tu as mépris "of" avec "off" dans le deuxième paragraphe. Je suis désolé!

Leah said...

Re: MJ's books not having an ending-- well, one could argue that life doesn't, either. The plot lines of actual events have no resolution. When does anything end? It's inelegant, but fitting- ESPECIALLY for something so real as Bermudez.

That said, I dug up my copy to look at my notes and share them with you. Then I read them all, and realized that I'd basically just marked everything Parker ever says. Oops.

But I also have a special place in my heart for "Steve won't mind if we have sex right here on the coffee table. He's totally down with the Godess!"

I like the brother from Wizards of Waverly Place, too. I feel so so much better knowing other not-preteens have crushes on him as well :D

Joanne said...

I'm not sure if anyone has said this yet, but you have an error in your second jot.

When you said, "I talked to JT more than you would be proud off," you didn't technically end a sentence with a preposition, but that's only due to one 'f' too many.

I know you're a grammar freak, so I thought someone should tell you.

Some students in my high school attend a separate academic program, where the final exams are in May. The rest of the school has them in June, and so school ends in June. Currently, those separate-stream grade twelve students are finished school. But some of them come to school anyway, even though they have no classes, to like, find closure, I guess.

Myself, I'm more of the type to feel nostalgic about something before I've even left it, just form dettachments really quickly and never keep anyone close to me...

Basically, the point of this was, I really admire your ability to keep those people who are important to you, close, but not form ridiculous attachments to things that don't matter!

You are INCREDIBLY lucky to be over and done highschool. I can't wait until I can actually get out into the world. A year from now, I will do so :D
I'm definitly very excited about it, too
and by the way, congrats on graduating :)

Brianna said...

Reading your to-do list makes me want to do everything on your to-do list and then brag that I finished before you. Weird impulse. :-)

nazrine said...

Oh wow, you're actually done with school. You have no idea how incredibly jealous I am.

You have a crush on Justin too? LOL.

Anonymous said...

I love Pink Martini! I've loved that song ever since my French teacher played it for us last year. x]

I've wanted to read The Bermudez Triangle, but I do like a good ending.

joy isobel said...

That's quite the to-do list, I wish I was that motivated. Unfortunately, I have two papers I have yet to start and a project due for Spanish which I need to work on. You have no idea how much I envy you for completing high school.

i do not agree with the morals of that song "je veux seulement l'oublier puis je fume..." hmm >:l
but still woo!!!! french music makes me happy.
it sounds like you had a good day. i'm happy for you!
and that video was POSITIVELY gorgeous, and i am now a subscriber of her!

Once upon a Thursday Hayley said she would make a 5AG video and a HGH video, but she made neither. Also on that Thursday, Hayley neglected to update her blog. This would not have been exceptionally horrible had the blog title not been in French and had one of her wonderful readers not been studying all day for a horrid French final.
