So fab!

Guys, your comments yesterday were, as usual, unbelievably sweet and funny. Not kidding; you're partially responsible for my overall quality of living. Love and thanks to Christy, Joanne, Joy Isobel, Adam, Annaface, Janelle, Allison, an anonymous reader, Afton, Britty, Janet, A, itjusmar, Gavin, Christine, Leah, Kristen, goldensnitch, A.J. James, VicMorrowsGhost, Scott, Elizabeth, Kat, Hayley, Zoeey, Bre, Rohan, Lor (TOL to you), Becka, MegTao, ZippedTight, Katy J, another anonymous reader, Jen, Erin, Catherine, seurat2, one more anonymous reader, Freya, and Brianna. You're all wonderful. A gift: Here's a song you'll have a hard time disliking. What a classic.

I woke up this morning with every intention of making that video I was talking about in yesterday's blog. I was going to task manage. Accomplish what I'd set out to accomplish. And what did I do? I filmed about thirty seconds of it, watched old music videos on youtube, and painted my right big toenail a distinct different color from the rest of them just to be a jackass. But hark! Amidst my video-watching spree, I was reminded of this brilliant work of art. And from that inspiration alone, I opened an iMovie project and made a spontaneous video with no prior planning. SO THERE YOU HAVE IT, WORLD. GOOD THINGS CAN COME FROM LAZINESS.

Ummm. I lost my phone somewhere in my house. Really not looking forward to going through 70 tweets I've already read online. Also realizing that I don't even know my best friend's phone number, and I miss Jess. Aaaaand... that's sort of all I have for you today. If by any chance you're a first-time reader, I assure you that there are days when this blog is a hell of a lot more interesting. To redeem myself, here. Try not to laugh. You're welcome.

How do you find these things? Honestly?

I like boys too. AND I'm a teen witch.

Lets do something soon. I don't know what.

Hey, new reader here :) Love the entries, keep writing!

It may inspire me to start blogging

Wow, I forgot how completely ridiculous "Girlfriend" is. I saw Avril Lavigne live once, and her dancing was even more embarrassing than in that music video, if you can imagine.

That song by sweetafton23 is amazing and it made me laugh. In addition to that your video was adorable and quirky like you. Although I do have to wonder why you have so much outrageously neon colored spandex.

Arletta said...

I was too lazy to pause my ipod when I clicked on the "I like boys" link, so I ended up watching a good deal of it to "angels on the moon," by Thriving Ivory. It was pretty funny

First of all, again, I love your blog. Fantastic writing that puts a smile on my face. Secondly, you link the most weird (like Teen Witch) to the most made of awesome (sweet afton, which I favorited, thank you). Thirdly, and most importantly because your awesome, maybe lazy (but I slept pretty much all day so I have no excuse) but awesome. Have a good weekend!

Every time you say you love comments/commenters, it's after a day when I couldn't think of anything to comment.
*feels unloved but knows she's being irrational*
Anyway, I love you and your mismatched big toe, and I'm going to watch your video now.

Erin said...

@Marlena

I know exactly what you mean.

Natasha said...

Watching your new video pretty much turned my day around.
Thank you for being so fabulous.
:]

I missed your last couple of blogs and just caught up. Wow. From lead poisoning to Teen Witch, how can you claim your blog is boring?

I had to look up inconcinnity.

Why is your blog covered in Trojan ads?

Sorry? about Andrew. Between the glasses and the Klingon-speak... well, you can/will do better. Over voicemail? Seriously? Lame.

Someone else commented about you needing a Chipolte. I second that. Reward yourself. :)

That was the strangest thing I have seen in 16 years of life. I'm trying to find meaning in it. Why do they feel the need to announce that they like boys? Why is that one girl is so weirded out by them? Why didn't she join in? Would I have joined in?

Even though people over on YouTube say that your Avril Lavigne impersonation was bad, I still think that you have the talent and hootspa to even portray her, as well as mildly being an impromptu actress. And as you said that we would laugh, i laughed, but in my head. You have just made me jump on the bandwagon. YIPPEE!

A.J. James said...

...but i like girls.... glad we made you laugh.... God knows you have made me laugh on more than one occasion.... hope you have a great day... "in a nautical out fit she fights crime, she's always home before supper time" .... lolz... i heart HGHoover..

Alex said...

I mean not on the bandwagon because of the video, but because I have discovered your blog just about now and find it interesting. Sorry for the long post. Dont ever ever ever stop haha

Catherine said...

Yes! Unscripted vlogs are the best. And I cannot believe you just made me watch that. I can see myself having that stuck in my head all day tomorrow.

Also I once had a similiar problem as you. One day in school I thought I could probably get away with charging my phone in the back of the classroom. (My teacher is old and senile.) Anyway, as I was putting it away when the bell rang, he came up and took it from me. So I had to wait three days until my mother could go to the school and pick it up for me. When I turned it on again my inbox filled up, then started freaking out because it couldn't fit any more of the texts that were coming in. IT FILLED UP MY INBOX TWICE. So I had to sit and go through over 200 messages. It was quite ridiculous. So hopefully you'll find your phone soon.

Carrie said...

One of the best parts about that last video you posted was somebody's comment--"This is EXACTLY how I came out!" Hahaha.

Anyways. I love your blog. . .just saying.

Afton said...

Hayley it might be considered sad by some that your blog was the high point of my day. Oh, and I get to pick a Facebook username in 8 minutes! I'm a freak for watching this countdown. With my luck my computer will crash. Bye, I have to think of a witty username now!

1st link: A youtube masterpiece. Molly Lewis at her finest :)
2nd link: If I wasn't so amused by your antics I would be mad at you for getting that song STUCK in my head.
3rd link: Have you ever seen that movie in its entirety? Cheesy '80s movies are the best.

I came home from a long day, not expecting to see anything up here, and to my great surprise and delight, you had posted a blog and video. Double score.

Teen Witch made me laugh hysterically. It's videos like that that make me wonder how I spent the last two hours on YT.

Thanks for making my night that much better Miss HGH. I wish we were friends in real life, so that I wouldn't have to wait to revel in your awesomeness and brilliance.

From what I can tell, you are a fantastic person.

Amanda Long said...

Hayley, the ads are for Trojan Ecstasy condoms.
Oh my goodness.
I really enjoy your hair and your general awesomeness.
My school's mixed show choir did "Girlfriend" by Avril at our final show this year. It was badass in a ridiculous way.

VicMorrowsGhost said...

I find straight laced, prepy Avirl far more attractive than punky Avril.

Scott said...

Your unscripted vlog was so badass! It sickens me that people refer to Avril as Canadian talent. It's because of people like her that people think we all live in igloos and have pet polar bears.

I wish this blog had a forum or something. We're all becoming such a happy Internet family!

Josie said...

Hayley, I thought the link to the song was actually to a snog and was confused (slightly disappointed) to find it wasn't. It's okay though because I enjoyed the song.

kateefacee said...

i know how you feel about finding your phone after awhile and seeing you have a bagillion new text messages.
I was in the mountains all this week (out of reception range) and as soon as i left this morning my cell phone lost it's mind, temporarily, trying to tell me how many tweets i'd gotten while out of range.

ps. OMG. i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE teen witch. thank you for renewing my love for it. *goes and looks up more videos on the tubes*

Janelle said...

Ahahahahha. What the hell was that?

Thanks for the shout out Hayley - You're a legend xx

Janelle said...

By the way Hayley - I have to thank you. the song "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus really helped me stop feeling so terrible today after I worked a 9.5 hour shift after an entire week of 4 hour law exams. And I wouldn't have found that song if you hadn't put the video on your channel. So thanks for that! Hope you're doing fabulously xxx

"I have a dream, that I will one day live in a nation where I will not be judged by the color of my hair but by the content of my blogs. I have a dream today!"

Your video was brilliant in that it put strange thoughts in my head.

Thank you. :)

I once lost my cell phone for three days. I looked all over my house, and even went to the lost and found at my school. Turns out, it was in the glove compartment of my mother's car.

Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne brings back so many memories... ah high school...

I loved your video, by the way, the sailor moon part was just amazing. I love that anime even more now than when I was ten.

I love the sweetafton23 song! I showed it to my brother once because he has a myspace and I have a facebook. I also showed him "Transparent" by the Moaning Myrtles and he was mad at me for getting it in his head, and now the answer to any "why" question is "because of wizard rock". I'm trying to get him to finish the 6th book before the movie comes out now.

you never fail to get songs EMBEDED inside my head!

Oh, yeah, that chick Arya said...

i have to admit that music video made me crack up. I would probably be that girl in the background thinking their idiots.

Oh, yeah, that chick Arya said...

woopz. they're idiots***

seurat2 said...

Hey, I kind of like Avril Lavigne, for a bubblegum rocker she's not bad. And I'd rather people knew she was Canadian than Celine Dion. Having said that, the Molly Lewis song is genius and Teen Witch? Seriously? This was a real movie and everything? *scratches head in amazement* I vote Hayley does a blog every day July. (Is July when you do the camp thing though?)

Annie said...

Oh my goodness! I love that song. Its awesome!

ZippedTight said...

Hayley, I posted this on your previous blog post.. second rate vadalizing and something else, not sure if you saw it, but here's my response:
who was it that vandalized your truck? more like attempted to.. sounds like something the group of natasha/sam would do.. that crowd. did you figure out who it was?
and who could imitate andrew's voice like that? mike?

and the two freshmen girls.. was it a sophomore/freshman? sarah and megan?

have you heard about sarah and andrew? he hasn't been very loyal..

if you want more info, say so. i'll msg you on facebook or something

----------------------------------
anyways, i'm glad to hear your done with andrew.. he's a dick. and sarah is a slut.

Hayley. There's an ad for Trojan Ecstacy on the sidebar of your blog. It has animations. I am afraid.

:d I enjoyed both your video, and the gift. :D

Seriously: "I hope that seeing young Mom in a swimsuit or smoking a hookah isn't too traumatizing
But it will be past their comprehension
They'll ask 'Did Grandpa not give you enough attention?'"

Where do you find these gems?
I want to know. For now, I guess I'll just be filled with glee when you post epic videos here. :)

Oh wow, Hayley. Insanely ridiculous relics from the 80s are always exciting. Sometimes I marvel at the fact that I am a product of that decade...

Even when you don't really have much to blog about I definitely still enjoy reading your thoughts--you just put things so pleasantly.

In closing, what else is there to say but, "I LIKE BOYS! I LIKE BOYS! I LIKE BOYS!...etc" *bobs head back and forth/swishes poofy ponytail*

Thank you for sharing those links ^__^

I love shoutouts. They're largely responsible for my overall quality of life :)

But yeah, I loved your newest video. If you starred in an anime with that opening, I'd most definatly watch it.

Hint, hint.

It's sad that I know only like 3-4 mobile phone numbers and am totally lost without my adress book! I only know all home numbers because my phone at home crashes when you want to program a number (no joke). It's ridiculous. My phone crashes when I try to program a number. It's like a fridge crashing when you want to put food in. Argh!

Freya said...

You are very welcome for the comment on your last blog :). And thanks for the gift, it was gorgous. :D.
