So sleepy. I spent the day playing with Heather and the evening in a hot tub with other girl friends; somewhere between the jets massaging my shoulders and the cream-filled doughnut I devoured, I became so relaxed that the ride home felt like a cradle and I have no idea what this sentence is doing. My room smells like summer and the ceiling fan is blowing my hair in a very comforting rhythm. I had planned something interesting to blog about tonight, but any bit of coherency melted away an hour ago... I love you guys, but I don't want to talk to you right now.
I hope you all sleep well tonight and have fantastic dreams about cupcakes or something equally satisfying. Murrr. Goodnight. <3
P.S. Stefan! The EGOT necklace! Thank you!!
That sounds like an amazing day. I wish there was a way I could copy and paste it into my life. Give me the CSS or HTML so I can encode it into my life.
ReplyDeleteheheh. I don't know what encode means here. But it sounded techy enough to maybe work.
That sounds really relaxing and cozy and just reading it makes me want to sleep, so I think that I will.
ReplyDelete:)
np, hgh. makes up for all the ads on youtube I don't click
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm hot tubs are the best! I'm totes jelly :D
ReplyDeletemmmm. Sounds nice. I have a similar story. My family and I went to the beach in oregon on our trip( there seriously is nothing interesting to do there during the day, sorry to burst your bubble oregonians) and were walking around freezing even though it was mid July. It stank like fish and salt there too. Well me found this warm little oceanside cafe and sat down and had coffee and pie and we were all cozy and happy and decided to go back to where we were staying and give up on sightseeing there. We were in such a state that my sister deemed it "puuurring"! We walked out onto the dock and SLAM! The reek of dead fish and salt. I'm jealous that you were left to "pur" and not woken out of the wonderfulness.
ReplyDeleteAh this motivates me to go read and nap :)
ReplyDeleteMm sounds lovely =]
ReplyDeleteYou're not doing BEDA. You're doing Blog Every Day in April, Kind Of- which sounds like a Japanese fish. You should make sushi.
ReplyDeleteuh-oh, hayley! You missed a day!!Lol! Love ya any way!
ReplyDeletep.s. whenever I write "alot" I think of your grammar fairy video, go back a do this: " a lot". Thank you for making me better at grammar.
Hey Hayley,
ReplyDeleteI went an extra ten minutes on the treadmill today, drank three canteens of water, and refrained from scarfing an entire tub of haagen dazs. Keep up the motivation! :)
BEDA! Bedaaaaaaa!!
ReplyDeleteHAYLEY!!! WE MISS YOU!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHayley!!! Come BACKKKK! Pleasssies?
ReplyDelete"My room smells like summer and the ceiling fan is blowing my hair in a very comforting rhythm. I had planned something interesting to blog about tonight, but any bit of coherency melted away an hour ago... I love you guys, but I don't want to talk to you right now. "
ReplyDeleteI know, I know. This is your 'i don't feel like writing' excuse, but... I really, really like this bit. Funny, because I think we all know just what those moods feel like. Love it :D
I hate to be that annoying commenter, but HAYLEY Y U NO BLOG?!
ReplyDeleteAre you OK?
ReplyDeleteHey Hayley, are you taking part in NaNoWriMo this year?
ReplyDeleteAre you alive? We misssss you! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm getting tired of this. First leaving Presence, then not blogging for 2 months, then 10 days into a challenge she stops. We honestly don't mind, and we'd be a lot more understanding if you actually told us. It takes all of 2 minutes to nip on here and say "Sorry guys, I'm not going to be able to be on for a while."
ReplyDelete^This.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I have to agree with the comment two above mine. You don't owe us anything Hayley, and if you have to take a break from us for any reason, that's perfectly fine. But it would be a lot nicer is you could just pop over here and tell us that instead of disappearing. The same thing goes for Presence. If it was becoming too much work, we understand, but I wish you would have told us that rather than just vanishing without a word.
ReplyDelete^Agreed :-) We love you Hayley, but it is a bit frusturating.
ReplyDeleteHave to agree with the previous comments. I feel like you're afraid of us! It's perfectly fine that you've stopped the BEDA challenge but a quick word on here or even on twitter would be nice, instead of you vanishing. Like previously mentioned, you don't owe us anything, but it does make us feel a bit under-appreciated. You don't blog much outside BEDAs so it makes us sad to see you gone already so soon :( So yeah, just a quick acknowledgement to us would be nice (Like with Presence...)So please don't ignore us! We love you and miss you and it makes me sad to feel like you're afraid to come near us when you haven't blogged! Big hugs and kisses! xx
ReplyDeleteHayley my life is made of suck and I'm starting my junior year of high school next week and I'm going to be all alone in all my classes and everything sucks. So fracking blog for frack's sake. Give me something to distract myself with.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like the people who give your blog the views that in turn contribute to your adsense check deserve a little, "Hey! I don't feel like blogging right now! See you guys later!" in the very least :). Still love ya, Hayley.
ReplyDeleteHayley has been sleeping for a week xD
ReplyDeleteWe miss you!!!
Come back to us Hayley! Please?
ReplyDeletei don't mind whether or not hayley blogs, i mean she has a life and everything, but whenever she inexplicably disappears off the face of the internet for a period of time i wonder if she's going through some sudden family emergency or hard time or something where she couldn't breezily blog, and hope that she's okay. so i don't want to automatically be like "hayley, why u no entertain me" cuz i mean she's a regular person like all of us. though i do enjoy her antics and such.
ReplyDeleteI always think of this blog as a project that Hayley has chosen to share with us. As much as we adore it, it belongs to her, not us readers. Often, we're fortunate to enjoy her clever and hilarious musings. When the posts start to slow down, I suppose other projects, or school, or life is for the moment taking precedence. Or she's just grown tired of blogging! Hayley gets to make these decisions for herself, even though we love this blog! She doesn't have to apologize or anything. Letting us in on her life is sort of a gift in the first place, not something we are entitled to or can demand.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the posts you've done, Hayley. I don't mind that you're taking a break, but I will be glad when you return. Anyway, you need to focus on what's really important: pottermore!
^This.
ReplyDeleteHayley! Y NO POST IN AUGUST?
ReplyDeleteSigned,
A Desperate Fangirl
I need Hayleys blog :( The rarity of a blog always cheers me up I feel neglected now...which it quite weird in many ways because I dont actually "know" Hayley and she definitely does not know me yet I still miss her
ReplyDeleteHayley doesn't owe anyone anything. She can blog when she want.
ReplyDeletes
ReplyDeleteMy brain can't help but imagine worst case scenarios when unexplained absences last this long...
ReplyDeleteI really hope that's not the case; I'd much rather just be ignored than there be a problem.
You guys! Hayley owes us nothing. NOTHING.
ReplyDeleteIf anything, we owe her some respect for her privacy and her right to blog whenever she feels like doing it -- since we're nothing but Hoover enthusiasts who enjoy Hayley's casual blog/vlog, and not "paying customers".
It must suck checking the comments to find stuff like "First leaving presence and now this!". COME ON, guys!
Not cool.
I miss the blogs and vlogs, but that doesn't give me the right to demand explanations. Hayley has always been faithful to this blog's readership, so I'm sure there's a good reason she's not posting anything right now. And even if there isn't, it's not our place to judge her or be angry at her. But that's just my opinion.
Hayley, I know you're probably tired of us asking you to blog again. But if you've been absent because you don't have anything to blog about (which is always my problem), maybe you could tell us about OU. It seems to make you happy. What do you like about it? How did you meet your friends there? What clubs or group thingamobs are you in?
ReplyDeleteOkay, that sounds like some sort of application. Sorry about that.
Maybe that'll get BEDA, or your blog in general, back up. If not, enjoy what's left of summer!
You could turn BEDA into BEDS and blog every day in September since you've barely been with us this month... We miss you!
ReplyDeleteHayley! We miss you! I hope you're doing well :)
ReplyDeleteHey Hayley, I hope you are enjoying real life and everything is ok with you. Come back to us when you are ready. It's a pleasure and a privillage to read your blog and it's not up to us to decide when you post, that's up to you. <3
ReplyDeletelllaaaaaaammmmmmeeeeeeee
ReplyDeleteIt's a sad day when Hayleyghoover cannot finish BEDA. I always look forward to April and August when something can cheer me up or just bring a smile every day. So I'm more crushed than I should be when I see that after many triumphant BEDAs Hayley couldn't do it this year.
ReplyDeleteHey Hayley,
ReplyDeleteHope everything is going good, though I agree with a commentor above that when I noticed you hadn't posted in a while I thought the worst case scenerio though I'm hoping that isn't the case at all. Either way, we'll hear from you when we hear from you, we'll still be here <3
We love you Hayley, whether you're blogging or not. I hope things are going well for you, and I can't wait to hear from you again when you're ready.
ReplyDeleteMan I want a cupcake now, I hope that I dream of them tonight Hayley! I figure you would say something if you had, but have you started Pottermore yet?
ReplyDeletedude! beda! do we have to wait until April now?
ReplyDeleteHi Hayley :)
ReplyDeleteHope everything is okay, just to let you know we still miss you and can't wait to hear from you again!
We miss you Hayley! Hope you're well and everything is dandy. :)
ReplyDeleteHey Hayley!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to stop by and leave you a friendly comment. I miss hearing from you, but I understand when feeling obligated gets ugly. I don't want to stress you out about your blog, so I just want to say hayyyy. Have you eaten anything yummy lately? I was in Vegas two weeks ago and I had Chipotle, because of you, for the first time. It was just as amazing as you say! My boyfriend and I are very sad that Hawaii still doesn't have one, and we are more seriously considering moving to the mainland when we can to be nearer to one. Does this make us crazy? I like to say that we are dedicated. Dedicated eaters. Yeah. I shouldn't be ashamed.
wahh i miss your BEDA/general blog posts :((
ReplyDeleteHey, Hayley G. Hoover.
ReplyDeleteYou told us we should comment when we did something good for our bodies this month? Today I refused to engage in body bashing with my roommates... and I weigh more than all of them by a good thirty pounds. And, while I'm currently eating a cupcake and drinking a cup of tea, I'm pretty pleased to be able to tell you right now: I am happy with the way I look. Physically healthy? No. But emotionally healthy? Oh yes.
Hey!
ReplyDeleteI miss your blog posts so much! But I understand it too.
I just want to let you know that even though you haven't blogged in a while, you can still come back and blog now (Okay, that sounds stupid but whatever). If I drop a project I can never pick it up again because I'm afraid what people will think. So I let it be and come back much later but that's not the best way to handle that.
You can always just come back. I can't tell what other people will/won't do, but I won't judge you.
I don't even think she's reading these comments anymore...
ReplyDeleteHey Hayley, I just read on your Tumblr the reason you've stopped blogging and just to say I respect it. I hope one day soon you come back to us (where i hope the majority of us don't offend you.)
ReplyDeleteDo you think you could share that tumblr link? I'm not sure what you're referring to.
ReplyDeletehttp://coralcolored.tumblr.com/post/9440241610/dude-what-happened-to-blogging-every-day-in-august-i
ReplyDeleteso i don't mean to be rude, but you have at least 56 people who care enough/like you enough to read your blog. you shouldnt be bummed about one bad review, lots of people adore you, and cant wait to read more of your blogs. so anyway, dont be feeling all depressed because of one person... you have many that love you. hope to see you blogging soon
ReplyDeleteThere are jerks all over the place. But we all love you. Hayley, you come back whenever you're ready and we'll all be here waiting.
ReplyDeleteHey Hayley,
ReplyDeleteYou know, I'm not worried/upset/disappointed/angry because you "quit" BEDA. I'm worried, upset, disappointed and angry because someone sent you "hate mail" strong enough to do it.
This is disturbing on so many levels, because sharing your life on the internet is a thing you should do for fun, and it is so much fun sharing stories with you most of the time. And along comes one fucking idiot who ruins it for everyone. That's just selfish.
I hope you're doing ok, and come back to us whenever you're ready. I would even suggest going back to posting without even explaining why BEDA was suddenly interrupted. We understand (I do!), and if it makes you feel better, you owe us no explanation.
We'll be waiting for you.
okay, officially done reading this blog.
ReplyDeleteHey again, Hayley!
ReplyDeleteI miss you! I hope these comments don't get annoying, but I want you to know that you are loved. I may not know much about you, but what I do know, I admire so much. You are a couple of years younger than I am, but I look up to you like I would an older sister. You're strong, smart, beautiful, and brave, and you are an amazing writer. And I know I'm not the only one who thinks so. I tell all my friends about you, and they think I'm silly, but I really do feel sorry that they don't know you. Thanks for being so awesome. I'm looking forward to hearing from you again!
jen
Some of the annoymous comments on here are horrible. No wonder Hayley wants to hide from the internet world. Cowardardly to be annoymous and be rude.
ReplyDeleteI hate that someone thought they had the right to offend you and email you with something probably very rude and totally unnecessary. If they have a problem with you, your blog, your videos or your life that you share with us, then they should just go F-OFF and not watch/read.
Makes me soooo angry. If I could mail a homemade feel better cake to you I would, and a whole load of pizza rolls :) Miss your presence online Hayley, but I completely understand your reasoning.
Good luck, and come back when or if you feel ready. :) xxx
it's just not fair :'(
ReplyDeleteHAPPY BIRTHDAY, Ms. Hoover!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday, Hayley!! Do something crazy tonight!
ReplyDeleteI hope everything is going well for you, Hayley. Miss your blogs!
ReplyDeleteThis post sounds exactly like falling asleep :) Hoping you post again soon :)
