Happy Easter!

Family time, food, and seeing my best friend in the world for the first time in eight months has left me speechless. I had a fantastic day and I hope you're all doing well! Back to normal programming tomorrow. Goodnight!

  6. Hoppy Easter!

I hope the cupcakes were delicious and you stuffed your face with them! I agree with the anonymous poster. I want to see pictures. If you don't have any, a crayon drawing would be cool too.

  7. I just had an internal debate about whether or not to tell you this, because it's really creepy. But I'm going to say it because it's the internet, and the internet is creepy.

I follow you on Tumblr, and when I saw the picture of Jess that you posted, I was like, "Oh, she's hanging out with Jess! I'm excited to read her blog about all the fun things they did."

    Yep.

  8. Glad you got to see Jess, Hayley. I look forward to hearing about all the fun/ridiculous shenanigans that I'm sure the two of you had upon reuniting. Happy Easter to you as well. :)

  9. I seem to remember you praising the shit out of the film "Easy A," and saying something about how you wish you had written it/hope to write something like it, or something. I just watched it ('tis on the Netflix Instant Play) and for the first fifteen minutes I said Aww man, I sure hope the debut young adult novel by Hayley Hoover is better than this. But then I started to like it (it is possibly worth noting that I became progressively drunker as the the movie went on) and as it turned out I thought it was a pretty good/funny! So thanks for the recommendation, I sure do hope that when you publish a thing, whenever that will be, that it is a super funny/good.
Here's a random thought that I just thought: when you are attempting to be published via a legit publisher, will you mention that you have an already established audience, some of whom will purchase a book of yours immediately? That might certainly give you an advantage if your novel is just one of a million solid young adult fiction novels being submitted to this publisher. Hmmmmmmm.

  12. Happy Easter Hayley! Or as my dad would say "Happy Passover!" After church on Sunday my dad called an old family friend and said "Happy Passover". I questioned whether or not the friend was Jewish and my dad replied no, I don't think so. So I asked why he said "Happy Passover". Apparently my dad has gone his whole life thinking "passover" was another word for "Easter". We all make mistakes I guess.
