The above drawing is precisely the reason why I'm a writer, and not a... crayon... master. But my writing class was canceled for the day (Professor McSexybrit was sick), and there was a fresh box of crayons on my recently organized desk, so I thought I'd draw you guys a present. It's, uh, my blog. On my laptop. Because I love you. See you tomorrow, guys!

ReplyDeleteBut, um. Go have a life.
Read ya tomorrow!
I love it though! xD
ReplyDeleteBut wait...is your laptop ACTUALLY pink? :o
ReplyDeleteYour picture is cute! Took me a second but I realized what it was before you told us. Also, did you know the dude's silhouette in your banner is like, he's Harry Potter?!?!?! How have I never noticed that??
ReplyDeleteHayley!! You're not too bad! And, I mean, you clearly put some effort into it which is cute.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, you can only get so artistic with Crayola, so that's pretty detailed and I'm impressed.
ReplyDeleteThat right there is a masterpiece! :]
ReplyDeleteProfessor McSexybrit? Did I miss something?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the picture! XD
awwwww that's too cute. it's actually pretty good. better than i could've drawn.
ReplyDeleteplus, crayons = AWESOME.
you, hayley hoover, are a crayon master
ReplyDeleteI built you a cake.
ReplyDeleteFirst thing I thought of when I saw the title. :)
Adorable!
ReplyDeleteHaha...cute!
ReplyDeleteAnd actually a lot more realistic than I could have done.
P.S. Is your laptop pink?
Haha, awesome picture. I wish I had a Mac!
ReplyDelete@RhianonLives: This is the only way I could think of to respond to what you said yesterday and I hope you read this! It made me feel a lot better that you went through something similar to what I'm going through. I did get a few EKGs done and an echocardiogram, and everything is fine. It's probably just a stress reaction, because all of my tests are healthy. It's still scary when it happens, though! Thanks for caring. :)
What I gathered from this post: Your laptop is pink.
ReplyDeleteI r geluz. I wanted a pink one, but they didn't have so I got stuck with a red one. I call it Ron to make myself feel better.
It's actually pretty good! :D
ReplyDeleteOooh! You stayed in the lines!
ReplyDeleteNot something crayons will ever let me do :D
Impressive skillz miss HayleyG!
ReplyDeleteCrayons are the hardest thing to draw with. I am impressed you got that out of them. My art looks like a crazy mess when I try to use crayons.
ReplyDeleteNot a crayon master you say and yet it's thousands of times better than any stick figure I've ever been able to pit on paper. You were just born with talent. It's great! Thank you for the present!!
ReplyDeleteI find it incredibly amusing that the color of the ad in your picture matches the color of the actual ad that appeared on my screen.
ReplyDeleteI think my new goal in life is to become a crayon master. That sounds like the most awesome title ever.
ReplyDeleteThe only letters I revise more thoroughly than the ones I send to my former english teacher are the ones I post on your blog, which is why I had to come apologize for using "you're" instead of "your" in the comment I posted yesterday. Hope you didn't cringe. Now that I'm done being obsessive... lovely drawing!
ReplyDeleteWow, I just linked yahoo.com.
ReplyDeletei love these new unconventional blogs. also, new crayons are incredibly sexy.
ReplyDeleteHaha awesome picture!
ReplyDeleteToday on the bus I saw a girl with a shirt that said "I <3 The Situation". My first thought was, OMG she reads Hayley's blog!! Then I remembered who the rest of the world considers The Situation. Anyways, I was amused. :)
Hope you have a great day tomorrow!
UM. That's actually pretty amazing. No lie.
ReplyDeleteLooks goooood.
ReplyDeleteNow I wanna color...with brand-new crayons. God, I love brand-new crayons.
@Katie - I just realized that when I read your comment! I feel really dumb now, haha!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I actually think this is cute! Do you actually have a pink laptop, though? That would be pretty awesome.
A Mac? Tsk tsk (well, not really - I can't really form an opinion without having used both).
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like the feeling of a fresh box of crayons in the afternoon...
I love the picture. It is great. I wondering if you like the cover on your mac. I am thinking about getting a mac this summer and I want to know if I should get a cover for it.
ReplyDeleteInstead of writing a blog you drew one. I like it. :o)
ReplyDelete(Cheater.)
ReplyDeleteBut it really is a lovely drawing. See you tomorrow Hayley.
Only two blog posts left, Hayley! I bet you're excited :)
ReplyDelete(not that I haven't enjoyed this deeply. Because I have.)
Better than the Mona Lisa, that :p
ReplyDeleteIt's like you drew my laptop! I have a pink case for my macbook :-p it is like a photo!
ReplyDeleteCrayons FTW
So far in BEDA you've written your blog, vlogged your blog and now drawn your blog. I think it's time you sang your blog, although I don't know if you can upload audio on here but if you can please do it. :)
ReplyDeleteI feel honoured :)
ReplyDeleteWell, that's um... a lovely picture. Good job Hayley, that's going right on the refrigerator. Yes.
ReplyDeleteHaha, "crayon master" I know exactly why you said that. Had the same problem recently. Artist's a bit ambiguous.
ReplyDeleteThis is actually a lot better than what I could do.
ReplyDeleteCheat of a blog. :P
Hey Hayley!
ReplyDeleteI've been away for a few days so I just caught up on your blog, including the wonderful Depression entry, which did resonnate.
Not that I am depressed, but I used to be. A year ago I was totally lost in my life and I actually battled with depression for a while, most notably in the last two years of high-school.
I've also reached my peace of mind now and am able to keep the bad feelings at bay, though I do get the recurring feeling that Happiness is definitely not the result of easiness every now and then. Anyway, I've been thinking a lot about this situation lately, and I really think teens need to know that it will get better after highschool, because that was just the crappiest time for me, but now I'm happy.
Thanks for thought stimulating entry!
Oh, and I'm currently in a country which has sucha slow internet connection that I can't load YouTube videos. Aaah! I miss the Nerdfighters! How I can't wait to come home and watch videos again!
Today is awesome because I just realized it's THURSDAY!
ReplyDeleteI really like how your iSight camera is on. Skyping with The Situation/vlogging, even in a drawing. Just kidding!
ReplyDeletei really like this, hayley
ReplyDeleteits simple and cute and i kind of hated crayons before this
now i have a sudden urge to draw with crayons but i really shouldnt...
Crayon master sounds like the top level in a hardcore online video game. Poor Professor McSexybrit, you should make him a super artistic get well card
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely picture, Hayley. : )
ReplyDeleteI got the impression that you don't like Owl City in your 5AG video. I don't either!! They are yet another popular band (slash single person singer whatever) that I hate! Another one is the Fray (and I already know how you feel about them) and Coldplay. Not sure about the last of these but for the first two we seem to be Music hating soul mates or something... like that. That one kind of got away from me but I think you know what I mean.
Genius! :D
ReplyDeleteSo, even though I definitely know what date it is (I've been dreading next week's AP exams for months now), it just occurred to me that April ends in 2 days. And you probably will no longer be posting daily. Obviously you deserve a break, but just know that your daily posts will be missed!
ReplyDeleteI dub thee the Crayon Master.
ReplyDeleteAlso, this reminded me of the Lemon Demon song "Ode to Crayola".
So... who's Professor McSexybit? :)
ReplyDeleteAnd when are you gonna learn to color OUTSIDE the lines?
