So this woman walks up to register five holding some supplements or whatever you buy at the store where I work, and you know, she seems alright. But then she starts this rant about hemp? And, let me just tell you, it's good to be working register six.
My name is Jess, and something I was thinking about today at work is how people are CRAZY. And I was thinking, you know, we sure put a lot of conviction into arguments that could be proven wrong! Anyway, Hayley's in New York and stuff.
Hayley Hoover is my best friend because we completely understand and love each other. No matter how much she changes in life or what she does, I'll never even be disappointed in her because I always get where she's coming from (and like 98% of my opinions are based off hers)! Everything she does and thinks and says is srsly dabomb.com.
I won't spend very much time on this, even though I'm HONORED! because I've got places ta be tonight. I'm wearing black jeggings with a weird maybe-it's-in-style-but-probably-not-because-it's-from-dots shirt, with black platform flip flops that are (or were at one time) Hayley's. The shirt is sheer and ruffly with a peasant top neck and some print on it that reminds me of peacocks and eggplants. It's long enough to compensate for the cut of these pants, but there's elastic in the waist that keeps making it ride up. I bought the shirt yesterday, along with more clothes, so we'll have to wait, and see how it goes.
Another new thang about my day today is iced tea. I made sweet iced tea for the first time ever! because I love what they sell at McDonald's? So my mom taught me how to (somewhat mockingly, because seriously who doesn't know how to make iced tea); and I loved it. The light from the window reflected in all the glass and ice, there were pictures of roses on the tea tags, there were tons of strings tangled together, wind chimes outside, a lot of brown sugar... aaah!
And that's about it.
The girl's always askin' you guys to answer questions in the comments box. So my question is, what have you eaten today? Also, I mean, how's it goin? What's news? What was the best part of your day? Or you could comment and say what you are overly convicted about. Do you argue with their friends when they want to drop the seat back in your truck? Do you roll your eyes when people use too many plastic bags? Are you just convinced that the world's going to end in 2012?*
Hope everyone has an awesome day! G2GTTYLLYLASLOLOMGBRBBYE
love, Jess
*That's okay. I like to think it will, too.

I hate it when people take a million paper towels in a public restroom to dry their hands, and barely wipe them, and throw them away!
I've been at work (on a bar in a theatre) all day, so most of my convictions right now are work related, and I've eaten an embarrassing amount of awful food. Tip for the future: don't buy a load of junk food from the place where you work, and then spend the rest of your quiet shift reading the calorie content of the food you've just eaten. Depressing!
I hate it when certain someones drop their blogging responsibilities on their friends...
JK JK JK
no but really, i hate it when i just cut my nails and then using my hands suddenly feels so weird and different and i cant do simple tasks like untying my shoe laces.
AH! I work in a grocery store too, and one time this guy was talking to me about how 'recycled aluminum foil is just a tool the government uses to make more money,' and I was like 'that's greeeaaat...'
I've eaten a sandwich. And I'm about to have a burger and cheesebuscuits. Yum.
I hate it when books aren't organized on a shelf, just haphazardly thrown on there. I mean, really? Just make some sort of system. gaw.
I hate it when people spit in front of me.
Like, those guys who think it's attractive or something to expel saliva onto the ground. The ones who cockily chew tobacco and hock it out before they go into every store...You know the ones?
Yea, they really piss me off.
Ahaha.
I hate it when people tell me things I obviously already know (i.e. "DID YOU KNOW THEY ARE MAKING AN HP PARK THINGY? WHERE IS IT GOING TO BE AT, DISNEYWORLD?!?!11!!!" *sigh* yes. I've known for 3 years and you are stupid >.> )
And my day is going well. I got to see Kris Allen perform at a pet event going on here (pet-a-palooza) and it's weird going to a concert surrounded by hundreds of dogs as well as having one of your own dogs be so hot he keep trying to hide behind my back to get shade. Las Vegas is effin hot. It's like we live in a desert or something...
I hope you have an amazing rest of your day, Jess. Thank you for guest blogging for us =)
I LOVE sweet tea. Probably because I'm from Georgia. I like it when Hayley switches it up from time to time, getting other peeps to write for her!
I hate when people knock down random sand castles at beaches. That gets me so angry for some odd reason, even if it's not my sand creation. Ha ha.
Yaaay Jess! Looves it. I don't like being a soccer referee...You're hated like the second you put on your little goofy uniform. And your biggest device of any kind of threat is showing someone a colored card. I'd rather have a gun or something. That way people wouldn't talk back to me. It'd be a water gun though(which I believe to be just as equally intimidating.
Today I've eaten eggs, hash browns, cantaloupe, honey dew melon, zucchini pizza, a pickle, a grapefruit, m&ms, potato chips, veggie fried rice, sweet tofu stir fry, and cookies and cream ice cream.
I hate when people don't take the hair out of the drain after their showers. I hate when people don't turn a faucet all the way off and leave it all leaky! And I hate when people ask questions that they could easily find the answers to themselves, especially when they are sitting right in front of a computer. "How do you spell 'excellent'?" Really??? You're typing a paper right now!
Can you tell I'm in college? And my roommate does everything that annoys me. It's so awesome.
Welcome, Jess!
Also, I'm eating peanut brittle right now. :)
seriously? you could at the very least mention a sentence of condolence to poland for their horribly tragic loss today.
Ooh, today I had vegetarian sushi. It was really good. :D My day has been pretty good, but nothing compared to the last week. (: Best week ever.
I'm glad we/I get to meet you, Jess! Funtimes.
I got to play soccer today, and it was wonderful!
I also just saw the new Doctor Who episode. I don't even care about the legality or lack thereof of doing so. It was amazing.
And now I'm going to sleep. That's always nice.
A spinach salad with carrots and cottage cheese and grape tomatoes and chicken and eggs and mandarin oranges and red peppers and balsamic vinaigrette; some pineapple; two Pop Tarts, some milk; one piece of goat chese-pepper-mushroom-deliciousness pizza; one piece of mushroom-sausage pizza; one sprinkled donut; one non-fat iced Chai tea latte.
This latte is leaving a funny taste/feeling in my mouth. I am overly convicted against this.
Hi, Jess! Bye, Jess. :)
I've eaten an everything-bagel, a special K bar, 6 starbursts, hamburger helper rice thingie, and peanut butter pie. Mhmmm!
Also, I hate it when teens are judged to be less-than-worthy by adults if they wear something "sloppy" like sweatpants and a T-shirt or something.
I LOVE sweet tea. Glad you know how to make your own now!
I worked as a cashier at a grocery store last summer. And I agree, people are CRAZY. And they don't understand how to fill out checks properly.
I don't know that the world will end in 2012, but I don't think it's a coincidence that it's the first year there's no more Potter movies.
At least you don't have a coworker that likes to tell you that when the world ends/ the government kills everyone he'll survive. He'll survive because every once in awhile he buys 150 potatoes from his Potato Guy. I have no idea how this will help him survive the end times but I guess it will.
I had indian food today! It was yummy! Today was average but the best part was the Indian food. Can you tell I am hungry while writing this? I was going to answer the rest of the questions but now I'm going to get some food.
Your outfit sounds cool by the way ^^
I hate it when people I like have serious political convictions that make me seem stupid and/or ignorant in comparison.
I was just thinking about that today.
Since it's 7 AM in my (european) time zone, I've just had a bowl of Nesquiks with milk and a tea with honey and lemon. But... I overdid the honey part a little bit. And it looks like it's lost its liquid consistency :)
I hate it when the toilet runs and you have to go jiggle the handle.
Today I ate eggs and toast, ichiban noodles, grapes, and a big ol' calzone!
Super fun to meet you!
So I totally understand the amazingness that is the dress/top with the elastic waist. Saves me from accidentally mooning A LOT of people, let me tell ya.
Anyhow, you asked some questions:
1) All I've eaten today is a handful of strawberries and leftover pasta. That is, I am a college student. You get food where you can find it.
2) It's going pretty well. Thought my piece-of-shit laptop finally peaced out for the last time, but I managed to revive it. Seeing as the fact that my shitty retail job doesn't afford me such luxuries as functional electronics, I was all about ready to perform mouth-to-mouth if necessary. But I'm glad it didn't have to come to that, because I'd imagine it'd be both dangerous and impractical.
3) The best part of my day was probably the handful of strawberries. (Again, college kid.)
4) Something I am overly convicted of - Jason Derulo needs to change his name to Jason Detool-o. Har har har.
Today I ate--
-A brownie
-Some homemade chicken soup
-A homemade bread roll
-An ice cream
-A chicken salad
-A slice of toast
Ugh, that's so much. Oh well, it was tummy. Have a good day!
Today I ate mac n cheese from panera, pepsi, a starbucks frappucino, and pancakes. The best part of my day was when my friend Izzy and I were making Swedish pancakes. They were so good. :) we hung out all day, it was the best!
Haha, I can totally imagen you being Hayley's best friend.
Today I ate a helluva lot of pasta and got my friends and I very, very lost the way to go get out HPV jabs :)
1. I have eaten mostly candy and fruit, since I spent the day in a crappy little room, writing a 8 hour test.
2. It's going good now, even though I found out the just mentioned test actually went worse than last time so now it doesn't count, which means I spent a perfectly nice, sunny day inside in a room without windows completely in vain. Yay. I watched Monsters Inc and Finding Nemo now though, so it's all good.
3. The best part of the day was eating too much chocolate.
4. Those damn people and their plastic bags. Annoyance numero uno.
5. Have you SEEN the movie 2012? Of course it's going to end. Best. Movie. Of all time!... *awkward silence*
That's all for the downer commenter today. I'm Ida and I'm out.
I haven't eaten anything today, so far...
I'm actually a little hungry now.
I'll admit, I'm one of the fools that carry a ridiculous amount of plastic bags. And I often get disapproving looks from old people.
And the best part of my day was at the start of my day...last night at 3AM. Where I drunkingly got photographed in a Whoopie Cushion costume. I don't know the person that gave me the costume, but I'm very fond of them.
Today i ate frostie flakes.
But now its lunch time and i havaen't eaten anything because im too lazy to make anything.
Sad times.
It was great to here from you Jess, we hear so much about you anyway :D
you're cool :)
i ate a sandwich of cucumber, butter, tomato, pepper, cheese aaaaaaaaaaand i think that's it
it was good
it was breakfast
I am one of those girls who eats the world and stays 100 pounds for some strange reason. So, I've been up for about 15 minutes and this is what I've eaten:
Toast with vegemite
Chocolate cheerios
Yesterday:
Chocolate cheerios
Vanilla milkshake
Soup
Nachos (necessity)
Extra cheesy mac and cheese
Carrots
Pizza
Trail mix bar
... and probably more I can't remember. I'm a foodie.
I do in fact roll my eyes when people use too many plastic bags. Like the baggers in grocery stores. That is why I now have a nice orange flip and tumble shopping bag. You can fit a dunk ton (not exactly sure what this measurement is. It's just something I say) of stuff in there. It's pretty great.
Today I have been extremely unhealthy. I woke up at noon and ate some left over pasta with my roommates from last nights dinner party. Then I layed in bed and ate some chocolate while watching Skins. For dinner I will eat a burger and home made chips. Very unhealthy but I justify it by telling myself that I've eaten fruit salad in the place of a usual meal for the past 3 days. : )
Thanks for writing in Hayley's blog! I love to hear from Hayley's friends!
I ate Indian Food, made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, worked in my garden and talked to my dog.
Yesterday, I decided to see what the hype was about, and went for real made-by-mexicans-not-by-teenagers Mexican food. Life: changed. I was a guacamole fan before, but now I want to be hooked up to a guacamole IV. mmm.
i hate it when people have huge tote bags or hobo purses and then use plastic bags for stupid stuff.
i also enjoyed this post
and i'm about to go eat pizza rolls
I had a poptart, a brownie, grilled cheese & french fries, chex mix anddd that's about it. gross.
... i was gonna answer the rest of your questions, but... now i'm not.
i wish the world would end in 2012.
Wow, I'm really loving the guest-blogging thing. Such a change and good job blogging Jess!
I hate when people eat obnoxiously loud and it just sounds so gross in my opinion.
My day was pretty boring, spent over 8 hours of it at work. Blergh.
I love best friends.
And food. So let's see; I've eaten Lucky Charms and Frosted Flakes, Olive Garden-y things like: Breadsticks, A salad, steak and chicken. And...those 1st degree burn doritos and pizza rolls.
You, Jess, seem really awesome :)
i love that opening so much it makes me want to cry... or do something equally ridiculous.
that was stupid.
I absolutely hate at Wal-Mart when the register people are bagging your stuff and they only put like one thing in every bag. I tell them they can put more than one item in a bag every time I go there.
I instantly knew it was Jess and not Hayley just by reading the title of this blogpost. That totally creeps me out.
Hi Jess!
I have nothing else to say.
I graduate in 2012 - we're the class that ends the world D:
(but hopefully not)
In my opinion, you are mistaken.
